Framegain is developed and licensed by Render Technologies AB (Org.nr 559362-0734), Rönnbärsvägen 17 D, 691 47 Karlskoga, Sverige. By downloading, installing or purchasing a key for Framegain, you agree to these terms.
Framegain Free can be downloaded and used without an account, a card or an expiry date. It stays free forever and is not a trial.
A Pro key is a licence to run Framegain Pro, not a transfer of source code. One key activates on two machines at a time. Deactivating a machine frees the seat for another. The plugin checks your key once, at activation, and runs fully offline afterwards.
A Pro key includes updates for twelve months from purchase. The version of Framegain you have at the end of that period keeps working; it simply stops receiving new updates unless you renew.
All Pro purchases are processed by Paddle.com, who act as the seller and Merchant of Record for the transaction. Render Technologies AB is the licensor of the software itself. In practical terms, Paddle takes your order and payment, issues the receipt, calculates and remits applicable sales tax or VAT, and handles billing and payment questions. Render Technologies AB supplies the Framegain software and license, and handles software support and license administration.
See the Refunds page for how refund requests are handled.
Framegain is a read-only diagnostic tool by default; its optional automated fixes only ever touch the project you point it at, and keep a manifest so a change can be reverted. Do not use Framegain to attempt to access, scan or modify a project you do not have the rights to work on. Do not attempt to circumvent license activation or resell keys you do not own.
Framegain is provided as diagnostic tooling to help you find and fix performance problems. It is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Render Technologies AB is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Render Technologies AB’s total liability arising out of or relating to Framegain or these terms is limited to the direct and foreseeable loss caused by our breach and, in aggregate, to the amount you paid for the relevant Pro licence during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.
We may change these terms when we add or change features, licensing arrangements or legal requirements. The current version will be posted on this page with a new update date. For material changes affecting an existing Pro licence, we will also make reasonable efforts to inform customers using the email address associated with the purchase before the change takes effect. Changes do not remove rights that mandatory law gives you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms will be decided by a Swedish court.
